Brain, Toxoplasma gondii, immunoperoxidase In this photomicrograph, all of the Toxoplasma organisms stain brown, as with most immunoperoxidase stains. Both rupturing cysts (larger brown circles) and proliferating tachyzoites (small brown dots in an area of necrotic-appearing brain) may be seen.
