This picture was taken about 25 yards from where the other pictures in this series were taken. Garbage is dumped and burned here, and cattle and pigs are often turned loose to graze on it. The animals are used for milk and meat, often being slaughtered in the street. Trichinosis, leptospirosis, taeniasis and other diseases abound because of these sanitary conditions (see life cycles of the various organisms, below).
