This is a chart of the classification of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, as outlined by the Working Formulation. This system places the subtypes of lymphoma into 3 prognostic categories: low, intermediate and high grade. The lymphoma subgroups are based on morphology, and include analysis of the growth pattern (follicular or diffuse) and the cell type. This is the most widely used classification system for NHL in the United States. It was created primarily for node-based, B-cell lymphoma and therefore does not adequately categorize some types of lymphoma.
