Brainstorm

Brainstorm is a highly interactive program developed to help students understand and review neuroanatomy. Developed by medical personnel at the Stanford University Medical Media and Information Technologies center. Brainstorm allows the user to set the pace and depth of explorations into the brain and spinal cord. Structures are presented as gross dissections, cross-sections, and diagrams. Informational screens provide notes and insights into the structures. All screens are extensively cross-referenced, for quickly moving between images and structures. Students can test their understanding at any time by taking a quiz. (taken from the package description)

Cross-Sectional Anatomy

Cross-Sectional Anatomy contains labelled digitized images of cross sections, CTs and MRIs from the Visible Human Data Set. This program is still currently under development.
